Multiple todo updates, easier management of large group bookings, type-specific owner costs, and more.
Guest and reservation labels as automated todo settings
Add a guest or reservation label filter to automatic todos to automate specific preparations for your visitors, such as arranging a welcome gift for loyal guests. Todos are created based on the presence of the label, and are updated when labels change.
More detailed monthly recurrence in periodic todos
Schedule periodic todos for specific days of the month, such as every first Monday or every last Friday of the month. You can configure this easily by selecting the desired interval and the day of the week.
'After confirmation' scheduling option for reservation todos
Automated reservation todos can be scheduled a specific number of days after a booking is confirmed. The exact todo deadline is calculated automatically. This date is capped at the arrival date, to keep planned todos relevant.
Todo labels shown in detail view and index
Individual todos as well as the index now consistently display all relevant todo labels. These labels are indicators of pet presence, occupied status, changeover day, etc; comprehensive information is now quickly accessible from any view.
Grouping todos by object or facility in the planner
This new filter option allows you to group unassigned todos by object within the todo planning. Organize all items logically by location before assigning them together, ensuring the executor’s list does not require them to travel back and forth a lot.
Managing large group bookings is now faster with single-click actions to check in or check out all reservations simultaneously. The interface displays pre-check warnings for outstanding items and handles invoice creation or meter readings automatically. A new search field also lets you find a specific reservation within the group instantly: search by guest name, object, or license plate.
The booking portal uses standardized purchase and add-to-cart events to ensure accurate reporting across your analytics tools. Revenue calculations now sum individual item lines while excluding deposits and tourist taxes, to align with modern GA4 guidance. These tracking methods apply to completed bookings, late checkout options, amenity selections, and more.
In the owner module, periodic costs can now be configured with different prices depending on type. This removes the need to manually override rates on individual owner agreements. The correct type-specific rate is automatically applied during invoice generation and uses a baseline price as a fallback.
Owner license plate information is now included in exports, and is recognized during import uploads. This resolves a previous limitation and allows for easier bulk updates and streamlined data management.
The template tags for reservation check-in and check-out times have been upgraded to display the full scheduled time range. These tags previously only displayed the specific start time for arrivals and departures.
In the guest portal settings, it is now possible to enable WhatsApp as a a direct communication channel. New organizations in BEX will have this communication feature active by default.
The index page for bundles has an updated design with an improved header, breadcrumbs, and a prominent creation button. The index shows configured channels, types, and whether a coupon is required. Enhanced filtering and smoother drag-and-drop reordering make managing your promotional bundles much faster.

Feature update

A new structure for preference costs offers more control over how you charge for specific amenities and object selections.

Maximum flexibility while ensuring that behavior is the same across all channels. All types of preference costs can co-exist and will be charged only when appropriate.
Preference cost for amenities: Distinguish between free and paid amenities, create tiers for premium amenities, or create a flat fee for any preferred amenity as a baseline.
Preference costs for amenities do not apply when guests select a specific object on the map, because the object already contains a defined set of amenities.
Preference cost for objects: Create a flat fee for selecting any object on the map, and stack fees for objects that have premium amenities.
This way prices can vary depending on the amenities of the object, even when the guest selects an object on the map.

New settings for reservation todos, prioritized type highlighting, and new layout for bundles.
Use this setting to generate the reservation todo only when an object has been vacant for a specified minimum number of days. Effective for todos that become redundant when the object has been recently used, such as legionella checks. The system also adjusts or removes tasks if changes to neighboring reservations alter the vacancy period.
Use this setting to schedule a todo a specific number of days after a booking is confirmed. The system calculates the todo date, capping it at the reservation start date (arrival date) if the calculated date is later.
Highlighting a type now uses a weighted priority system for finer control over how these are shown in the Search & Book. Types sort by highlight priority, with higher priority at the top. Use the multi-select in the type overview and a new prioritize button to update multiple types at once.
The bundle show and edit pages now have a new layout to improve mobile responsiveness and enhance data display for cost composition, associated bookings, and coupon codes. One of the new features is the option to add seasonal image variants to optimize online presentation.

Security logs for app credentials, updates for Airbnb and HomeToGo/Vrbo, and more API capabilities.
App Store credentials are now hidden, developers and app managers are required to explicitly reveal these credentials to use them. Each reveal is logged for improved ISO auditability. Changes to park access and app re-authorizations are also comprehensively tracked, improving the security controls of your integrations.
A type is now marked as pet-friendly towards distribution partners if one or more of the associated objects permits pets. This change aims to increase conversion via HomeToGo and Vrbo in particular.
The Airbnb integration now uses a default of zero for the amount of days needed in between reservations, to correctly match availability in BEX PMS. Check-in and check-out times with a time range rather than a single time indication are also retrieved to update listing details. These times are rounded to full hours for compatibility.
The highlight priority for types can now be used to sort their order. This enhancement improves data access and flexibility for integrations retrieving type information for listings on other platforms.
The Danmark Statistik integration extrapolates guest numbers and nationalities based on the main booker and guest group. This updates reporting for parks that do not use PMS guest lists and removes manual entry.
A new connection allows integration partners to directly retrieve and update meter reading information. This integration streamlines resource consumption tracking across external platforms.
Tax identification numbers and business registration numbers are now included in the owner resource. This data expands the administrative information available through the Booking Experts application programming interface.

Updated todo and cost management, bulk updates for objects, promoting guest to main guest, and more.
The Todo overview now features a cost column with detailed tooltip breakdowns for material and labor expenses. From the individual todo, these costs can be edited. Revert back to the initial schedule by clicking a button.
The todo module now displays a status badge for paused todos in the executor portal and backoffice. A new filter can shortlist paused todos, and the executor portal provides clearer guidance when pausing todos. In the contractor portal, shift badges for same-day guest arrivals are displayed. This helps contractors prioritize todos based on immediate occupancy needs.
The interface for viewing, creating, and editing costs in the backoffice has been completely redesigned for better usability. By replacing the previous multi-step configuration with a single, unified form, creating and editing costs is now significantly faster.
Periodic costs can now be priced per square meter of an object. This new pricing option is available when you create or edit periodic cost items. It offers more flexibility for managing object-related expenses, provided the surface area has been recorded in the respective object or type settings.
You can now update start and end dates for the active rent periods of multiple objects at once. This, as well as the bulk deletion of objects, can be done directly from the objects index page. These tools significantly reduce the time spent on large-volume object management
You can now edit or delete individual meter readings directly from the object page. The readings are sorted from newest to oldest by default. This ensures you always see and manage the most recent data first.
In the reservation guest, you can now promote any person to main guest through the more options button. This offers more control over your reservation guest list.
BEX PMS now records all changes made to the date setting for locked accounting records. This audit trail details who modified the lock date, when the change occurred, and the previous and new values. These logs enhance security and accountability within your administration settings.
Invoices and receipts now include more payment details, such as payment references, terminal identifiers, and full timestamps. Amounts excluding VAT are visible on receipt items while VAT totals are reordered for readability.
The reservations export now includes columns for total paid and outstanding amounts. These additions offer a comprehensive overview of your booking payment statuses. It simplifies financial tracking and reporting for your administrative team.
